Rohrbach-Berg wants fourth win in fourth game

Tomorrow (kick-off: 3:30 p.m.) the state league autumn champions will play away against Oedt 1b in the top game. “Oedt was the favorite for the title before the season, but is currently having a bit of a weak phase. Of course we want to try to take advantage of that,” says Rohrbach-Berg’s coach Christian Eisschiel. His team demonstrated comeback qualities last week and turned a 2-0 deficit into a 3-2 win against Viktoria Marchtrenk. Eisschiel: “We are very happy with the start to the spring. But you see every week that anyone can beat anyone in the league. The season is still long, but we want to get the best out of it.” The grapes are hanging high today for Putzleinsdorf near Donau Linz: Coach Adis Mujkanovic’s team has already collected seven points in the second half of the season and will try to gain something from the title candidate.

In the Upper Austrian League, two Mühlviertler teams are in action on Good Friday today. The DSG Union Habau Perg hosts Edelweiss Linz at 6 p.m., Bad Leonfelden wants to trip up leader Oedt (7 p.m.). The Zauner team recently boosted their self-confidence with a 6-0 win over SPG FC Wels / WSC Hertha 1b.
