“Inspiration Body” is the name of an exhibition in the Angerlehner Museum that ends on Sunday, April 7th. At the finissage, Elisabeth Stumpfoll, who was born in Wels, will dedicate herself one last time to the artists and their high-quality and strictly limited print works from 3 p.m. Most of the images come from the collections of the Gmunden gallerist, who has lived in France for many years and has specialized in collecting and selling lithographs there.
The heart of the exhibition is without a doubt the “Vollard Suite” created by Pablo Picasso. The master created around 100 graphics under this collective term, which he named after the publisher and art dealer Ambroise Vollard. The series is considered by experts to be a top work of graphic art of the 20th century.
Guided tours of the exhibition are also available on Easter Sunday (11 a.m. and 3 p.m.)
End and beginning
The end of “Inspiration Body” is also a beginning. Also on Sunday, April 7th, the Angerlehner Museum invites you to the opening matinee of Marie Ruprecht’s works at 11 a.m. under the motto “The space in between”. Already on Wednesday, the FORUM gallery at Stadtplatz 8 in Wels is presenting works by graduates and students of the Linz University of Art under the motto “VIS Á VIS”. The exhibition starts at 7 p.m.
