For 35 years, the wooden summit cross on the Kleiner Schönberg (894 meters) on the eastern bank of Lake Traunsee withstood wind and weather.
Because it had now become too rotten, the members of Naturfreunde Ohlsdorf brought a new one to the popular viewing mountain last Saturday. It was carved from larch wood, lovingly handcrafted by Sepp Keiblinger, now a proud 87 years old. The official inauguration will take place on Friday, May 24th at 3 p.m.
