Deputy Álvaro Viviano denied being linked to the Penadés case

“I can assure you that I have nothing to do with that situation,” Viviano continued and added: “If there is a point of proximity, perhaps even on a personal level, it has to do with the fact that I I was a partner for a long time with the person who was his secretary.who also already testified in the case and did so as a witness,” he explained.

Likewise, the deputy was willing to request a hearing with the prosecutor in the case, probably on Tuesday after the holiday, to “find out the situation, clarify and chat with her.” “If she finds it pertinent that she requires something from me, of course she will have it,” he commented.

The Court of Appeals confirmed the extension of Penadés’ preventive detention

Last Friday, the Court of Appeals confirmed the extension of preventive detention for 180 days for Penadés, which had been defined at the beginning of this month.

The measure corresponds to an extension of the preventive detention that was imposed on October 10, 2023, when he was formalized in the case as a defendant, which expired on the 10th.
