An 84-year-old local man sustained serious injuries in an accident in the municipality of Micheldorf on the morning of May 1st. The elderly driver lost control of his car around 9:40 a.m. near the town of Schön and drove off the B138.
The car crashed into a tree below a slope. The force of the impact injured the pensioner so seriously that he had to be taken to the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Clinic in Kirchdorf, the police said on Wednesday evening.
