The colorful shop window design on the ground floor enlivens the town square. The initiator of the campaign was Martina Kalkgruber, owner of Cosmetik Martina. Through her job as a beautician she gets to talk to a lot of people. This is how she found out about Franziska Winklmayr and her Welu Zambia project, which offers African women a job. Coupled with Kalkgruber’s heartfelt desire for the town square to be an attractive place, one thing led to another. Kalkgruber was able to convince the homeowner to make the shop windows on the empty ground floor available to her free of charge.
