As the Tyrol State Police Directorate announced on Saturday, the police car collided head-on with a car coming from Padre-Kino-Straße at 3:14 p.m. as part of an emergency trip on the B171 (Innsbrucker Straße), was thrown onto the side lane and collided with another one car together. The first car was driven by a 21-year-old Austrian, the second by a 48-year-old Austrian woman who also wanted to enter the federal highway from Padre-Kino-Straße.
The 31-year-old driver and a 26-year-old passenger were in the police car. They all suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital by the rescue team. The vehicles involved in the accident, which were significantly damaged, had to be towed away.
