This year the expert jury awarded the “Paper of the Year” award to senior physician Klaus Altmann from Ried. In his award-winning work he dealt with the neuropsychological outcome after a subarachnoid hemorrhage. Fabian Perschinka worked for a few months in the department of anesthesia and intensive care medicine at the Rieder Hospital and researched sepsis markers in the blood. He also received the “Paper of the Year” award. “We appreciate and support it when our colleagues deepen their expertise through scientific work. In doing so, they contribute to the further development of medicine and high-quality healthcare,” says Johannes Huber, Medical Director of the Ried Hospital.
