Israel recovered the bodies of three hostages in Gaza, one of them is the German influencer Shani Louk

Israeli forces announced this Thursday night the rescue of the bodies of three hostages from the Gaza Strip, As reported on Friday by the chief military spokesman, Daniel Hagari.

The hostages identified were Amit Buskila, Yitzhak Gelernter and Shani Louk, a young influencer with German citizenship whose image on the day of the October 7 attack had gone viral. According to Hagari, The three “were killed by Hamas while escaping from the Nova music festival on October 7 and their bodies were taken to Gaza.”

After the attack by the terrorist group last October, a series of videos went viral in which Louk could be identified at the time of being kidnapped. In those images, She was seen unconscious, half naked and with blood on her body.in what was the back of one of the trucks used by Hamas at the time of perpetrating the attack.

According to the young woman’s mother, the influencer died on October 7, just the same day she was kidnapped, after a shot to the head during the attack. Once the Israeli army confirmed her death -on October 30-, Ricarda Louk, the victim’s parent, described it as terrible, although she appreciated being certain that it happened. “At least she didn’t suffer.“Ricarda highlighted.

The video of the kidnapping was one of the first images that spread around the world on the day of the Hamas attack on southern Israel, and could denounce the magnitude of said invasion.

Louk worked as tattoo artist and influencer, and she had more than 45 thousand followers on her social networks, where she dedicated herself to showing her trips with her friends and her boyfriend, in addition to showing her looks. She had both German and Israeli nationality, due to the nationalities of her mother and her father, respectively.

The military forces have not yet revealed where the bodies were found, but according to information that has emerged, Israel has been operating in the city of Rafah, in the south of the strip, where there were hostages. The other two bodies found were identified as Amit Buskila28 years old, and Yitzhak Gelernter56 years old.

For his part, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu He dedicated a few words of praise to the military operation and ratified his promise to bring back all the hostages “whether they are alive or dead” and described the deaths as “heartbreaking”.

According to Israeli information, the Hamas attack on October 7 caused the death of 1,200 people and the kidnapping of another 250. Of them, about half have been released, mostly exchanged for Palestinian prisoners held by pro-Israel. However, there are still 130 hostages held in Gaza (9 Argentines) and approximately 30 bodies have not been recovered.
