The hostages identified were Amit Buskila, Yitzhak Gelernter and Shani Louk, a young influencer with German citizenship whose image on the day of the October 7 attack had gone viral. According to Hagari, The three “were killed by Hamas while escaping from the Nova music festival on October 7 and their bodies were taken to Gaza.”
After the attack by the terrorist group last October, a series of videos went viral in which Louk could be identified at the time of being kidnapped. According to the young woman’s mother, the influencer died on October 7, just the same day she was kidnapped, after a shot to the head during the attack. The military forces have not yet revealed where the bodies were found, but according to information that has emerged, Israel has been operating in the city of Rafah, in the south of the strip, where there were hostages.
