Melayro Bogarde is moving from TSG Hoffenheim to LASK on a free transfer and will sign until summer 2028.

The 21-year-old specializes in defensive midfield but has also played in defense. He spent most of his youth at Feyenoord Rotterdam. As a 17-year-old, Bogarde moved to Hoffenheim, where he made 17 professional appearances.

“With Melayro we were able to win a very exciting player for us. He is a flexible, young defensive player whose strengths fit our profile perfectly. We see high development potential in him, which is why we consciously decided on a long-term contract. We are convinced that he can be an absolute asset to our game,” sports director Radovan Vujanovic was quoted as saying in a press release.

“The club made a huge effort to look after me and gave me a really good feeling right from the start. I was also very impressed by the existing infrastructure with the Raiffeisen Arena and I am convinced that I will find ideal conditions here to develop further. I will do everything for it give me the opportunity to contribute my strengths in the best possible way and help the team,” says Bogarde.
