The senior citizen was riding his e-bike on the R10 cycle path from Wartberg an der Krems towards Kremsmünster on Thursday at around 3:25 p.m. when he collided with an oncoming racing cyclist (46) in the town of Helmberg. The 82-year-old was seriously injured and had to be given first aid by the emergency doctor and then taken to the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Clinic in Kirchdorf. The 46-year-old racing cyclist was slightly injured.
