The book “Inside Signa – Rise and Fall of Rene Benko” by Rainer Fleckl and Sebastian Reinhart was temporarily out of stock shortly after its publication on April 20th and was only available in well-stocked bookstores. The work about by far the biggest bankruptcy in Austrian economic history is now in its fifth edition.
The Ried bookstore Dim, in cooperation with Puttinger Vogl Rechtsanwälte, has managed to bring the two authors Rainer Fleckl and Sebastian Reinhart to Ried for a book presentation. The event will take place on Monday, June 3rd, at 7.30 p.m. in the Team 7 Welt, with all proceeds going to the Ried Children and Youth Protection Center (RIKI). Tickets are available in advance for ten euros in the Dim bookstore and at the box office on the evening (twelve euros).
Fleckl and Reinhart have been researching the Signa Group for more than five years. Using a psychological profile of Rene Benko and explosive details, they show in the book how the downfall of the former darling of politics was programmed from the start and why the rich and powerful fell for him anyway.
