Lugner has now had to abandon his plan to celebrate the wedding in a “small circle”. “The interest is incredibly high, it will probably be huge,” the builder told APA.

The experienced marital partner is not nervous just a few days before his wedding. “I’m generally not nervous anymore. I’ve become pretty hardened now,” said the builder. The exact plan for Saturday is already known. The couple will meet at the town hall at 1:50 p.m., where the wedding will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the “far too small” Stone Hall 2. Simone Reiländer’s sister, Sonja, will act as the bride’s maid of honor. Richard Lugner will be accompanied by his son Alexander.

After the ceremony, the newlywed couple will present themselves to the public. At 2:30 p.m., the Lugners will leave the town hall via the exit on Lichtenfelsgasse – private individuals will also have the chance to take photos here.

The bride and groom and their guests will then, weather permitting, be transported to their open-topped vintage

rbuses circle the town hall. “It’s not looking good at the moment,” said Lugner. In fact, the experts from Geosphere Austria are predicting for Saturday: “The sun will shine at times, but there will also be isolated rain showers, sometimes with thunder and lightning.”

“Financial benefits for the partner”

The next destination is the Palais Auersperg, where a reception will take place from 3 p.m. The program includes the cutting of the wedding cake (4.35 p.m.) and the bride’s dance (5 p.m.). The celebration will end at 7 p.m.

The father of four did not want to be criticized in advance for his new wedding. “Every relationship I enter into brings financial advantages for my partner. To prevent that, I would have to continue living alone, which I do not want, and that is how we found each other,” said the builder.

Marriage with Reiländer to be “last”

Lugner certainly has experience with marriages: he married Christine Gmeiner for the first time in 1961. The couple separated after 17 years. In 1979, the master builder remarried. But this union only lasted four years. “The then OPEC Secretary General stole Cornelia (Hahn, note) from me,” said Lugner.
