The ÖEHV team will face hosts Sweden, Canada, Finland, Latvia, Slovakia, France and newly promoted Slovenia in Stockholm in May 2025. This was the result of the draw on Thursday.

Two quarter-final matches, all semi-final matches and the final will also take place in Stockholm, with Herning being another venue. Defending champions Czech Republic and runners-up Switzerland will play in the Herning group for a place in the quarter-finals, as will co-hosts Denmark, Germany, the USA, Norway, Kazakhstan and newly promoted Hungary. Tickets for the championships in Scandinavia will be available from October 3rd.
At the World Championships in Prague, team boss Roger Bader’s team finished in a strong tenth place and narrowly missed out on reaching the quarter-finals.
