The man from Linz was riding his bike from Gutau towards St. Leonhard near Freistadt when he went over the middle of the road in a long right-hand bend. The 34-year-old crashed his motorcycle into an oncoming car. He suffered injuries to his leg and foot and was taken to Freistadt State Hospital by paramedics from the Red Cross. The 82-year-old driver and her passenger (81) were uninjured.
