The administrative court in Potsdam granted an urgent application by the former head of the right-wing extremist Identitarian Movement in Austria against a nationwide entry ban imposed by the city of Potsdam.
The authority announced this on Friday afternoon. With the ruling, the court established a suspensive effect against the ban. “The entry ban has been overturned!”, Sellner rejoiced on Telegram.

He had expected and hoped for this. “I will soon be returning to Germany and will demand remigration and de-Islamization more and more loudly than ever.” He also announced that he would comment on the “re-entry permit” in the coming week.
Court ruled in Sellner’s favor
On Friday, the court justified its decision in Sellner’s favor by saying that the city’s justification for the ban did not meet the “factual requirements” for such a serious intervention. The court is of the opinion that the objection raised by Sellner will probably be successful, explained a spokesperson for the administrative court. The order was found to be unlawful after the review possible in expedited proceedings.

In mid-March, the city of Potsdam issued a ruling declaring that Sellner would lose his right to freedom of movement in the Federal Republic of Germany for three years for reasons of public order and security. Sellner appealed against the ruling with an urgent application to the administrative court.
Sellner had visited Potsdam just a few weeks ago and visited the city’s town hall. He had reported on his trip to Germany on social media channels and made fun of the entry ban that had been imposed.
