One injured person, two damaged cars and a driver’s license confiscated: that is the result of a traffic accident on Saturday afternoon in Gmunden. On Ohlsdorferstrasse, a 41-year-old Bosnian was unable to stop his car in time and drove into the car of a 44-year-old local woman who was driving in front of him.
The woman was so badly injured that she had to be taken to hospital by ambulance. The other driver survived the collision unscathed, but had to hand over his driving license on the spot. The reason for this: a breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol level of one per mille, police announced on Saturday evening.
