Classical talent: Golden note for oboist Mira Hanner from Zwettl

At eleven years old, Mira Hanner is an exceptionally talented oboe player. The young woman from Zwettl has made it and won the “Golden Note” award for young talent.

Five girls and four boys aged between nine and 18 were in the final of the award initiated by Leona König, chairwoman of the International Music Association for the Promotion of Highly Gifted Children (IMF). The association aims to support young talents on their further artistic path. She found what she was looking for in the Mühlviertel.
