Team manager Ralf Rangnick has organised tickets for his entire squad and part of the support staff for the show of British rock legend Rod Stewart on June 15 in Berlin. The following day, the ÖFB entourage will travel from the European Championship quarters in the German capital to Düsseldorf, where the match against the favoured French will take place.

“It’s great to clear your head a bit before things really get started,” said attacker Christoph Baumgartner after the successful European Championship test on Tuesday in Vienna against Serbia (2:1). “It’s not really my generation, I have to be honest about that,” said the 24-year-old. Stewart, 79 years old and an ardent football fan, is a world star. “It will definitely be a cool atmosphere, so we’re looking forward to it.”
