The award-winning 25-year-old, who performed under the pseudonym C.Gambino, was found with a serious gunshot wound on Wednesday night, police said. He later died of his injuries in hospital. No arrests have been made yet.
Gang attack in public parking garage
It is believed to have been a gang attack and intentional shots fired in a public parking garage in the west of the city of Gothenburg. The Gothenburg police spokesman said there were links between the artist and one or more criminal networks. “We suspect that the crime is related to the gang environment,” he said, but did not want to give any further details.

In 2021, 19-year-old musician Einár, whose real name was Nils Kurt Erik Einar Grönberg, was shot dead at night in a residential area in Hammarby Sjöstad in southern Stockholm.
