Girl (11) injured in rear-end collision on A1 in Traun

A 49-year-old passenger in the Afghans’ car was most seriously injured.

According to his own account, a 23-year-old had overlooked a car with four people in the deceleration lane at the Traun exit and crashed into the rear of the car. The occupants of both cars were taken to the Linz Accident Hospital and the Kepler University Hospital, police reported. The 23-year-old from the Ried district crashed into the car with four occupants from Afghanistan. The young man was taken to the Linz University Hospital.

A 49-year-old passenger in the Afghans’ car was the most seriously injured. The 26-year-old driver and the other three passengers, including the eleven-year-old, suffered minor injuries, according to police.
