With the OÖNachrichten to the biggest Wels public viewing of all time!
The European Football Championship starts on June 14th and Wels will be there live. The European Championship euphoria will be felt throughout the city for a month. The largest public viewing in Wels’ history and the largest public viewing in Upper Austria will take place from June 14th to July 14th. Not only will all the games be shown live at Minoritenplatz – in addition to the Austrian games, the entire town square will be transformed into a fan mile, a second LED wall will be set up and a colorful supporting program will be offered. In addition, over 20 restaurateurs will be broadcasting the European Football Championship with over 3,000 seats and many activities in their businesses and beer gardens. Wels is therefore well prepared for the European Championship.
