Eyewitnesses called the police because the man rode his e-bike into a car parked on Vogelweiderplatz and damaged it.
Instead of reporting the incident, the drunk man simply drove on, before falling again shortly afterwards and injuring himself this time. Someone was then found to accompany him home.
The police were able to quickly track down the fleeing cyclist. Since he was obviously extremely drunk when he opened the door to the police, an alcohol test was carried out. The result: 2.70 per mille. The Wels resident was reported.
