Between January and May of this year, 13,133 (January to May 2023: 14,706) electric cars were registered in the commercial sector – i.e. by companies, local authorities and legal entities – while the number among private users was 4,349. However, there was an increase in new registrations among private individuals, as only 4,045 electric cars were registered in the first five months of 2023. The reported decrease in electric cars is therefore due to the commercial sector.
