Christian Brueckner, a 46-year-old German, is serving a sentence of 7 years for raping a 72-year-old woman in Pradia da Luz. Titus Stampa is the investigator who was summoned to testify before a federal court for other cases of abuse against minors in which the accused is involved, since he has a extensive history of sexual crimes.
There, Stampa showed the evidence against Brueckner. As she revealed, the Federal Criminal Investigation Office (BKA) found two email accounts and stated that one of them “is related to the murder“, although he did not provide details of the content.
According to Mirrorthe only thing that is known so far is that the messages contained images of sexual abuse of minors. Furthermore, the investigator said that the accused deleted all emails from the first months of 2007, when Madeleine disappeared in May of that year.

On May 3, 2007, during a family vacation, Madeleine disappeared from the hotel where she was sleeping with her brotherswhile their parents were eating in a local restaurant, about 50 meters from the room where the children were.
Kate and Gerry McCann checked every 20 or 30 minutes to make sure their children were okay. However, at one point, the mother realized that Madeleine was not in her room, so reported his disappearance.
