The former president accused Luis Lacalle Pou of “not saying everything he has” and regretted that with the scandal “they lose confidence in the political system.”
The ex-president Jose Mujica referred to the scandal over Astesian case and considered that it affects the Executive and to politics in general, pointing out that “we lose confidence in the political system and then people think ‘they are all the same’ and then comes (Javier) Milei”, by renewing his criticism against the president of Argentina.
When referring to the Uruguayan Head of State and the leaks, he considered that Luis Lacalle Pou “He doesn’t say everything he has, he’s ashamed of that,” but he warned: “I hope I’m wrong. “I don’t want to hit the president.”
