The daughter suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder. The father is said to have filmed a sexual assault, which is why he was convicted of possessing the incriminating files under Section 207a of the German Criminal Code (“Pictorial sexually-related child abuse material and pictorial sexually-related depictions of minors”).
According to the prosecution, the criminal acts always occurred when the child’s mother, to whom the man was married, was not at home. The accused, who lives in Tennengau, initially denied the crime during the investigation, but confessed after the victim was questioned in contradictory testimony.
Judgment not final
Since neither the prosecution nor the defense have made a statement on the verdict, it is not legally binding, as court spokeswoman Christina Bayrhammer informed.
