The motorcyclist was driving west on Maria-Theresia-Straße at around 2 p.m. At the same time, a 48-year-old car driver was driving north from Fabrikstraße. According to witnesses, the car driver stopped in front of the intersection. As he drove off, he collided with the motorcyclist.
The 37-year-old was thrown onto the roof of the car and then ended up lying on the road. After receiving emergency medical treatment, the injured man was taken to Wels Hospital. While the accident was being recorded, the 48-year-old developed health problems and was therefore also taken to the Wels Hospital.
