No serious injuries
Rescue workers from the Portland Fire Department initially considered using a rope to rescue people from the seats of the round “Atmos Fear” ride. But the emergency services were eventually able to lower the carousel to the ground manually, as the fire department wrote in a post on Platform X. There were no serious injuries.
No further details were given, only that they were able to undergo medical examinations after their rescue. It is not yet known why the ride got stuck.
