The classical music festival, which this year is celebrating the 200th birthday of its namesake, will include, among other things, what the organizers say will be the world’s first cyclical performance of all eleven symphonies – including the “Study Symphony” and the so-called “Zeroth” – by Anton Bruckner.
The Bruckner Festival traditionally lasts from September 4th, the composer’s birthday, to October 11th, the anniversary of his death. This year it is entitled “Infinite expanses. Bruckner’s work as a reach for the stars”.
