At around 5:25 p.m., two cars collided on the Brünninger Landesstraße between Andorf and Raab in the Niederleiten area. For reasons unknown, a 59-year-old man drove his car onto the opposite lane and collided with the car of a 37-year-old woman.
Both car drivers were injured. The 37-year-old was taken to the hospital in Ried, the 59-year-old was flown by rescue helicopter to the Linz University Hospital. The L1129 was closed to all traffic for about two hours.
