A natural death is assumed, but confirmation is still pending as no information on this was provided in the first autopsy report. The results of the toxicological examination must be awaited, a spokeswoman for the Linz public prosecutor’s office said on Thursday afternoon.

On Wednesday it became known that a 43-year-old man with whom she had been partying on the night of her disappearance had buried her near his apartment in the south of Linz. He is being investigated for abandoning an injured person and disturbing the peace of the dead. The 43-year-old was arrested but is now free.
