The Hungarian citizen drove his car off the road and crashed into a tree without braking, the Burgenland State Police Directorate reported on Friday. He died at the scene of the accident.
The force of the impact trapped the man in the vehicle. The fire brigade freed him and initiated further rescue measures. However, help came too late for the 26-year-old. During the operation, the B10 was closed to all traffic for almost two hours.
