A 60-year-old hiker fell 100 meters over rocky terrain in the Tyrolean Außerfern and was fatally injured. The German did not return from a mountain hike on Thursday and was reported missing. He was found on Friday morning about 300 meters below the Köllenspitze ridge. According to the police, the man had apparently slipped on a snowfield.
