A 20-year-old from the Freistadt district was driving his car on the B38 towards Freistadt. In the town of Unterschwandt, he veered off the right side of the road and fell over an embankment. After his car had overturned, it came to a stop on its wheels in a field.

The 20-year-old then tried to get the vehicle out of the ditch, but failed on the steep embankment. Witnesses called the police. A breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol level of 1.64 per mille. The driver’s license was temporarily taken away. He was taken to Freistadt Hospital with minor injuries.
