The accident with a tragic outcome occurred at around 4:50 p.m.: The young man from the Braunau district was driving his motorcycle, which was not registered for traffic, on the “Revier Renzlhausen” municipal road in the direction of the town of Renzlhausen.
For reasons that are still unclear, the 18-year-old, who does not have a class A driver’s license, drove his bike onto the verge and crashed into a power pole. Two nurses and the crew of the emergency helicopter provided first aid. However, the young man died at the scene of the accident.

Friends witnessed the accident
Several of the driver’s acquaintances witnessed the accident because they had previously attended a festival near the scene of the accident. They had to be cared for by the Red Cross and some of them were taken to Braunau Hospital.
