After only seven years, the Opel Crossland is disappearing into the attic. The whole Crossland? No! To clear up a misunderstanding right away: the model still exists, only the name is history. The new compact SUV is given a long-established name: Frontera.
The Frontera was built on the island between 1991 and 2003, in England – first by IBC Vehicles, later by Vauxhall, although it was a licensed copy of the Isuzu Wizard. At the end of 2003, sales of the Opel model were discontinued. Now it is being revived – with a highly modern SUV.
