He former president of the Republic, Jose Mujicacalled on the presidential candidates of all political parties to discuss how they plan to grow the economysince it understands that, beyond individual proposals, the “real discussion” revolves around the creation of resources.

This Sunday, after the campaign closing ceremony of the Yamandú Orsi presidential celebrated on Las Piedras (Canelones)the former president pointed out that he listened to “all the candidates” and “from all the parties” but that no one proposed an economic growth plan.

“It seems to me that everyone has good intentions, but they propose, propose, propose. And then, with what?” he asked. Mujica in front of the media present.

“If we don’t discuss how we are going to move the economy, the ability of the State to do things is very limited. So, the real discussion is how we grow the economy to have resources and address the social debt,” he said in this regard.

In that sense, Mujica He once again showed his support for Orsi, stating that the former Canary Islands mayor has management experience in Canelones, a department which he defined as a “sample of the country.”
