Ewald Kreuzer is on the board of directors of the Franciscans

The Steyr theologian Ewald Kreuzer (65) will also be a member of this group. He has been appointed education representative.

“I am very happy about this task of conveying the Franciscan spirituality of peace, the preservation of creation and brotherhood to as many people as possible,” says Ewald Kreuzer, who has been a member of the order for 26 years.

The “Ordo Franciscanus Saecularis” (OFS) has almost 800 members in Austria and South Tyrol, organized in sixty local communities in several regions. The OFS is open to men and women, whether married or unmarried, as well as secular priests, deacons and bishops. The members do not live behind monastery walls, but live in the middle of the world and pursue their civilian professions.
