The decisive factors for the ranking include the full score for stability, health system, education and infrastructure. Mayor Michael Ludwig (SPÖ) was pleased: “We are proud that our achievements have been internationally recognized and honored again.”
The result was no coincidence, he said, thanks to the hard-working people of Vienna. “And of course the right political decisions have to be made for this to happen, and it is also an award for the achievements of the City of Vienna and its employees,” Ludwig added.
