A 24-year-old woman from Natternbach was driving her car through Neukirchen am Walde on Monday afternoon at around 5:40 p.m. In the village of Baumgarten, the vehicle came off the road, hit several bushes and collided with a tree stump. This caused the car to roll over and end up on its roof. The emergency services were alerted via the car’s automatic e-call activation.
The woman was able to climb out of the vehicle on her own and was flown to Schärding Hospital with minor injuries. She stated that she was trying to strap a basket onto the passenger seat when the accident occurred.
