During a border check at the Wullowitz crossing, a Leopoldschlag police patrol was able to track down well-hidden joints on Wednesday. In the afternoon, they searched a car with Czech license plates. They also checked the shoes in the trunk – in them they discovered ten “ready-to-smoke” joints.
The 29-year-old driver from the Czech Republic was questioned at the Leopoldschlag police station. A rapid drug test was positive. The clinical examination determined that the young drug driver was unfit to drive.
His driving license has been temporarily confiscated and a complaint will be filed.
