A 61-year-old Slovakian from Pfaffstätt was driving his car on the B 147 in the municipality of Burgkirchen on Thursday at around 4:20 p.m. A 27-year-old Malian from Braunau was driving towards him. The younger man’s wheels came off the road on the right in a slight left-hand bend, but managed to steer his car back onto the road. This caused him to end up on the opposite lane and collided head-on with the Slovakian’s vehicle.
