The Colorado Party defined the team to consolidate a unity program

The group of specialists led by Luis Mosca and Matías Bordaberry, leader of Andrés Ojeda’s technical teams, will establish the strategic programmatic areas.

He Colorado Party defined the team that will be in charge of working on the program for the candidacy of Andres Ojeda and Robert Silva facing the general elections October, with the aim of “consolidating the proposals of the different sectors” that make up the Colorado ranks into a single, agreed-upon initiative of ideas and projects.

He National Executive Committee of the Colorado Party (CEN – PC) announced that the “Program Team” of the party, the group of people who will have the task of consolidating the different proposals that the pre-candidates brought to the primaries on June 30, with the final objective of establishing the program of an eventual government under the premise of the unit.

“This team will define the strategic programmatic areas and will establish specialized working groups for each one,” the party’s governing body said in a statement, adding that in this way they reinforce “unity to provide the country with accurate responses to the problems that afflict it.”

Who’s Who in the Program Team?

According to the PC, the general coordination will be under the responsibility of the economist Luis Mosca, while executive coordination will be the responsibility of Matias Bordaberry. The first was Minister of Economy between 1995 and 2000; and the second was the one who led Ojeda’s teams in the internal campaign.

Another member of Ojeda’s team who will join this programmatic consolidation group is the former president of the Central Bank of Uruguay (BCU), Miguel Vieytes, who had previously supported Tabaré’s candidacy Viera and then joined the ranks of the current presidential candidate.

From the political group that accompanied Silva in his presidential race – which now continues from the role of accompanying him in the candidacy for the vice presidency – there will be the Undersecretary of Foreign Relations, Nicolas Albertoni; and the lawyer Victoria Pasquet. Both were coordinators of the technical teams of Crece, the electoral movement that supported the candidacy of the former president of the They code.

The team is completed by the former director of the Office of Planning and Budget (OPP) Isaac Alfie and the senator Carmen Sanguinetti, who accompanied Gabriel Gurméndez in the internal; and the constitutionalist Ruben Correa Freitasone of Viera’s advisors.
