Yesterday, Monday, a 16-year-old from the Gmunden district was riding his moped from Nussbach towards Adlwang. Behind him was another moped driver. Behind the two was a 19-year-old from the Steyr-Land district in her car.
The two moped drivers wanted to turn left in the municipality of Nußbach. At this point, the 19-year-old attempted to overtake. Just as the 16-year-old was about to turn, he was hit by the car. He was thrown into an adjacent field and ended up lying there with serious injuries. After receiving emergency medical treatment, he was taken to the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Clinic in Kirchdorf.
