An 84-year-old cyclist was in shock after an accident on Wednesday between 11 and 11.30 a.m. She was just passing the Abwinden-Asten power station when another cyclist unexpectedly turned in front of her. The pensioner from the Perg district was unable to avoid the accident in time and a collision occurred.

The second cyclist stopped first and asked about the well-being of the 84-year-old who had fallen. According to the police, she initially assumed that she was not injured. She told the other cyclist that everything was OK and, despite her serious injuries, cycled home on her own. On the way, however, the woman felt severe pain. That evening, she was no longer able to get up on her own and called the emergency services.

Because no data was exchanged, the second driver involved in the accident is asked to contact the police on 059133 4324.
