The school’s lecturer suffered life-threatening injuries, said a police spokesman. The police assume that the victim and perpetrator knew each other. Two, possibly three suspects are on the run and a search is underway for them, they said. The injured man is said to be around 50 years old. He was taken to hospital.
According to the information, the crime occurred at around 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the adult education center. The police spokesman did not rule out that the suspects were students, but did not confirm it either.
The background to the crime is still unclear, he said. The police are deployed in large numbers. A helicopter from the Hamburg police has also been requested to support the search. After the crime, police officers also cordoned off the school building and searched for the perpetrators – without success, it was said.
