The International Music Days 2024 in Aigen-Schlägl are still in progress and are already a great success, characterized by 12 outstanding concerts designed by the participants and lecturers. 65 talented musicians shone with their string instruments and on the piano. A highlight was the participation of the talented young pianist Yulia from Ukraine, who studies in Graz. Thanks to generous sponsorship from the Soroptimists, she was able to take part in the music days in the first place.
Soroptimists, a global organization dedicated to the advancement of women and girls, are proud to have provided Yulia with this valuable opportunity.
Gertraud Scheiblberger, President of the Upper Austrian String Association, emphasized the importance of music as a universal mouthpiece. The International Music Days are a platform for young musicians and teachers to develop their talent and gain valuable experience. The support of the Soroptimists enables these talented people to expand their skills in an inspiring environment and to make important international contacts. In 2025, the International Music Days will once again take place in the Mühlviertel – in Rohrbach-Berg.
