Rear-end collision in Roßleithen – two motorcyclists (23) injured

According to police, the serious accident occurred at 10:20 a.m. A car driver (36) from the Kirchdorf district was forced to brake near the Roßleithen exit of the A9 in the direction of Graz by a white van with a Linz license plate turning in.

Behind the car, two motorcyclists were traveling on the main road, two 23-year-olds from the Gmunden district. They were unable to brake in time. Both motorcycles crashed into the rear of the car in front of them.

According to police, both bikers were injured and had to be taken to the hospitals in Kirchdorf and Wels by rescue helicopters Martin 3 and Christophorus 14.

The B138 was closed to all traffic for about an hour. The car and the two motorcycles suffered considerable damage.
