The Rolling Stones have been making music for more than 60 years. Frontman Mick Jagger receives birthday greetings.
Rock legend Mick Jagger is celebrating his 81st birthday and receives congratulations from his bandmates from the Rolling Stones. The group has been making music for more than 60 years and released the new album “Hackney Diamonds” in the fall. Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have now posted birthday wishes on social media.
“Happy Birthday, Mick!” read Richards’ page, along with an old black and white photo. Wood’s account also posted an older photo showing him and Jagger in red suits.
The Briton Jagger was born on July 26, 1943 in Dartford in the English county of Kent. In addition to his voice, his dance style is also legendary. The Stones (“(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”) were recently on tour in North America. Jagger also recently met athletes from the British team for the Olympic Games.
